The Hay Loft is a traditional 17th century Cotswold stone barn that's been converted into a modern holiday home which retains its wonderful rural feel, offering a perfect blend of both worlds. Exposed beams and rustic decor don't detract from the light, airy ambience of this property, making it an ideal place to unwind.

The ground floor of the Hay Loft has an open-plan kitchen where you'll find an electric cooker, gas hob, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, all ideal for a self-catering stay, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. For relaxation there's the sitting and dining room, with a 40" TV with HD Freeview as well as a DVD and iPod docking station. The dining area in here is perfect for sit-down meals.

A double bedroom on the ground floor has a 6' zip and link bed which can be made up as two 3' singles if preferred to make it a twin bedroom. Thhis bedroom has a view of the garden and its own en-suite shower room. On the first floor is the other double bedroom, with a 6' bed and an en-suite bathroom. This bedroom boasts a south-facing Juliet balcony that's a delightful place to sit out and savour your surroundings.

There's a nicely maintained and pretty walled garden at the front of the property, where you can sit on the wooden garden furniture on sunny days and admire the flowerbeds and small trees.

This accommodation is located in the pretty village of Stanton, well-situated for a truly tranquil break in real Cotswolds countryside. Head up the hill to savour the fantastic views from the welcoming Mount Inn, and maybe stay for a drink or two. The Cotswold Way runs through the village, too, so this is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy walking and cycling.
