Just 3 miles away is Holmfirth, known as the filming location for the long-running television series, the Last of the Summer Wine, set in the picturesque Holme Valley.

The Gables dates back to the early 1700s and was once the village store, now lovingly restored with original features preserved, such as four fireplaces, beams, and quirky shaped rooms. The cottage has been updated with modern amenities and earthy/neutral tones throughout, creating a tranquil and charming atmosphere.
