The natural light from oak stable doors and picture windows, along with the sounds of the countryside, create a serene and relaxing atmosphere.

The yurt is handcrafted using hardwood from the nearby area, providing a cozy and inviting space for guests to enjoy. Guests can relax on a luxurious double bed or optional single beds, complete with fresh linen and wool rugs for added comfort. Outside, the deck offers a perfect setting for alfresco meals and moonlit dinners, with a barbecue, washstand, and fresh water tap available for use. The en-suite bathroom hut includes a flushing loo, Victorian sink, towels, and a large walk-in shower for added convenience.

Lower Lodge Farm, where Oak Yurt is located, spans 3,000 acres of rolling fields and ancient woodland, providing a diverse habitat for flora and fauna. Guests can explore woodland walks, streams filled with fish, and the ruins of an iron forge, all while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the countryside. On-site parking is available for guests, and bicycles can be hired for exploring the surrounding area. Additionally, a dinner "Room Service" is available upon request, and a travel cot can be provided free of charge.
