The property has been recently refurbished in 2019, offering light and spacious rooms with a traditional Scottish sporting lodge décor.
The house includes a large kitchen with modern amenities such as an electric range oven, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, microwave, and two dishwashers, leading to a formal dining room seating 10 people with an open fire. The lounge features another open fire and a TV/DVD, while a small snug provides a separate space for children to play. The ground floor also includes a pantry, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and cloakroom with 2 additional WC's.
On the first floor, guests will find comfortable bedrooms including a master king size with en suite bathroom, a king size zip and link bed (which can be separated into 2 twins), and three twin bedrooms (one with a washbasin). The bathrooms have been recently upgraded, with one featuring a shower over bath and WC, and another with a bath and WC. French doors from the grand entrance hall lead to a patio area with seating, overlooking the garden and lawned area that opens up to the surrounding hills covered in ferns and heather.
Ideal for family holidays, the property is popular with fishing and shooting groups, offering a secluded retreat while being close to village amenities. The West Coast location is part of the NC500 route, with numerous hiking trails and Munros to explore nearby. Must-visit attractions include Handa Island Nature Reserve and the Summer Isles, making this house a perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The driveway provides ample parking, although the road up to the property is steep, ensuring a peaceful and picturesque setting for a memorable holiday experience.
