The town is known for its interesting shops, restaurants, cafes, and a pier that was rebuilt in 2001, blending well with colorful beach huts and a promenade. The cottage is close to the beach and offers footpaths for exploring, including one that winds across marshes to the harbor where a foot ferry to Walberswick is available in the summer.
The cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, including a large master bedroom and two small twin rooms. Pets are allowed at the property, making it a great option for families traveling with their furry friends. The amenities include a sitting room, kitchen/dining area, conservatory, cloakroom, and bathroom. Luxuries such as a balcony off the master bedroom and Wi-Fi are provided, along with gas central heating and a fully equipped kitchen.
Outside, there is a rear garden with a lawn area, small patio, garden furniture, and a summerhouse. Parking is available for three cars on the driveway. Guests may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver, and arrangements for pets must be made in advance, with an additional charge possible.
