Situated between the River Stour and the River Orwell, the cottage offers a contemporary open plan kitchen and living area, a large ground floor bedroom, a shower room, and a large first floor bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and Juliette balcony. With a private courtyard garden, communal games room, and optional shepherd's hut, it is ideal for two couples or a small family. The property boasts stunning views of rolling pasture grazed by horses and pedigree Red Poll cattle.
Guests can rent The Parlour separately for four people or combine it with the adjoining Buttery and Dairy to accommodate up to 12 guests, collectively known as Lodge Farm. The interconnected properties offer both privacy and flexibility for couples or families. Guests have access to the owner's Shepherd's Hut for picnics or relaxation, as well as a communal games room, utility room, and tennis court. A massage therapist can be booked for a special treat in the Shepherd's Hut.
Located on a private track just four miles from Ipswich, the farm is a peaceful retreat close to the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Suffolk Food Hall, offering a variety of local produce, is less than a ten-minute drive away. Guests can pre-order bespoke welcome packs from the Hall. Additional amenities include underfloor heating on the ground floor, travel cot and highchair availability, and the option to bring one well-behaved dog per property. Two EV chargers are available on-site for a small fee.
