Guests have access to free parking in the car park opposite the cottage, which was formerly a harbor, hence the name The Moorings. The cottage also offers a quaint gravelled area where guests can enjoy the sea air. The ground floor features hard flooring throughout, with a large rug in the living room. The traditional kitchen/dining room combines old and new elements, with a brick and stone floor, electric oven/grill, ceramic hob, and fridge with freezer compartment. The living room exudes character with low beams, a brick fireplace housing a wood burner, and ample seating.

The bathroom is a light and airy space with a hand shower over the bath, WC, and washbasin. The first floor can be reached via steep wooden stairs leading to the master bedroom with a wrought iron king-size bed and an en suite cloakroom. The top twin bedroom is sure to delight kids with its ship's staircase, pine twin beds, and views of the River Alde. Outside, guests have access to a parking permit for the Town Marsh car park, as well as a small gravelled area with a table, chairs, and BBQ for relaxing in the sun.
