Pass The Keys | Historic Windmill For Your Countryside Escape

Walsham Le Willows, Suffolk

4

Situated in the historic village of Walsham-Le-Willows in Suffolk, the Roundhouse is a unique guesthouse that was originally two windmills. The remaining windmill has been beautifully restored and offers a romantic getaway or countryside escape for up to four guests. The open-plan living area features a woodfire and a cozy sofa, while the upstairs bedroom provides a comfortable retreat after exploring the surrounding countryside.

Guests can enjoy walks around Walsham and nearby market towns like Bury St. Edmunds and Diss. The Roundhouse offers a unique historical experience, with evidence of peasants grinding corn at the lord's mill found in the area. The property has been converted from a functioning mill to a guesthouse, with modern amenities and a charming atmosphere. Parking is available right outside the Roundhouse for convenience.

The hosts aim to greet guests in person and provide a tour of the property, but arrangements can be made for minimal interaction if preferred. Additional information includes the availability of a sofa bed for groups of three or more, as well as the option to bring pets. Smoking is not allowed on the premises. The location in Bury St. Edmunds offers easy access to cultural attractions like the Cotton Mechanical Music Museum and Bressingham Steam and Gardens, making it an ideal base for exploring the East of England region.
