The cottage features an open fire and is pet-friendly, allowing one well-behaved dog.

The cottage is close to two village pubs where guests can enjoy local food and drink. Visitors can take a walk along the Sailors Path by the River Alde to observe wildlife and visit the world-famous Snape Maltings nearby. The property boasts an entrance lobby, sitting room, open-plan kitchen dining room, rear lobby, and a walk-in shower room.

Guests can relax in the atmospheric beamed interiors of the cottage and enjoy amenities such as a Smart TV, DVD player, CD player, and WiFi. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, and dishwasher. Outside, there is a gate garden to the front of the property and a courtyard garden at the rear with a shed for bike storage, a bench, flower beds, patio, and table and chairs.

Parking is available on a private drive for 1 to 2 cars. Guests may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for the property. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement, with an extra charge per pet per week. The vacation home is located in Saxmundham, with nearby attractions including Suffolk Coast and Heaths, Lonely Farm Country Park, Snape Maltings, and Saxmundham Museum.
