Located in Oulton Broad, Suffolk, the bungalows at Broadlands Park & Marina offer a picturesque setting with stunning views across the marina and Broads. Refurbished in 2017, the bungalow features one double and one twin bedroom, a shower, open plan lounge/diner, separate kitchen, and a verandah with outdoor furniture. The park boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, children's pool, sauna, Quayside Bar and Restaurant, and a private marina where you can watch sailing and power boat racing during summer months.
The park offers a range of facilities including Wi-Fi access, pool table, boat launching and mooring facilities, children's play area, and a launderette. There is an extra person charge for a 5th person using a Zbed in the accommodation, and bunk beds are only suitable for children under 6 years old. Electricity is by card meter for most accommodations, and some works are currently underway in the vicinity, with noise limited to Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm. Dogs are only allowed in pet-friendly accommodations, and puppies under 6 months old are not permitted.
Guests can purchase laundry tokens, food hampers, and book reservations for the Quayside Bar and Restaurant. The pool and sauna are open to holiday guests without requiring booking. A welcome email with important information, including a pool timetable, will be sent a few days before arrival. Roadworks on the A47 may cause travel disruptions, and the park will undergo maintenance for the next 10 weeks, with minimal disruption for the first 3 weeks. For bookings over 14 days, approval is required, and availability for bookings over 7 nights should be checked by calling the park directly. The restaurant will be closed between April 21st and 28th, 2023. The vacation home is located in Lowestoft, offering access to Norfolk Broads, Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve, Lowestoft Maritime Museum, Royal Naval Patrol Service Museum, Pleasurewood Hills, and Africa Alive!
