This 1930s Art Deco utility building was lovingly restored and extended in 2005, offering a serene escape in the heart of Constable Country. Situated next to the River Box in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this property boasts stunning views and a connection to the surrounding landscape through its extensive use of glass.
The ground floor of The Pump House features a spacious sitting area with panoramic views of the Box Valley, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining space with a log burner, a cozy bedroom with a King-sized bed, and a modern shower room. The underfloor heating is powered by a ground heat source pump, ensuring continuous heat and hot water for guests. Upstairs, a 'Cinema' snug provides a second seating area with a sofa bed and a large Smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the countryside.
Outside, guests can enjoy a large wooden terrace with seating and a BBQ, as well as direct access to the private water meadow that surrounds the property. The wild and mown areas of the meadow provide a peaceful setting for relaxation, with a separate river bank seating area and access to nearby footpaths.
