Situated near the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hut offers a peaceful countryside retreat with no light pollution, perfect for stargazing. The self-contained hut features a private bathroom with a power shower, as well as separate living, dining, and sleeping areas. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a microwave, toaster, kettle, and mini fridge, as well as a barbecue on their private patio.

The Shepherds hut is located within farmland fields, providing a serene environment to slow down and unwind. While the nearest towns for food shopping and dining are a 10-15 minute drive away, the East Suffolk Coast is just a 30 minute drive, offering a variety of restaurants and dining experiences. The historic All Saints, South Elmham is situated between the towns of Halesworth, Bungay, and Harleston, with Beccles also a short drive away for river walks.

Guests staying at the Shepherds hut will have access to parking spaces in front of the hut and the enclosed field area where it is nestled. There is also space for a tent if desired, at an additional fee. The nearby All Saints church, with its wildflower-filled churchyard and early Norman round tower, is a short walk away.
