The property is situated on a working sheep farm within Exmoor National Park, with free-range hens, Indian Runner ducks, and deer often seen on the farm. Guests also have the option of bringing their horse on holiday. While there is little to no mobile phone signal in Luxborough, wifi is available in the property at no extra cost.

A security deposit of £60 is required when booking The Granary, which will be refunded after your stay unless damage is discovered. The property is close to Harthanger View and Mill Cottage, two other holiday properties, each with allocated parking facilities. Arrival time is from 3 pm, and departure is by 9.30 am on the last day of your stay. The cottage is available for short breaks and week-long bookings, and is located near attractions such as Dunster Dolls Museum, Dunster Castle, and Blenheim Gardens.
