Splatt Barn was completely renovated recently to make this beautiful country cottage a luxury getaway with all modern conveniences. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Porlock, Splatt Barn enjoys uninterrupted views across the marshes to Porlock Bay and is only an easy walk into Porlock with pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Downstairs there is a large kitchen/dining room with adjoining utility room plus a conservatory to admire the garden from. The large sitting room has a wood-burner for topping up the heat on those cooler evenings. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and shower. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a balcony to make the most of the fabulous views towards Hurlstone Point. The second bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room. The second upstairs bathroom has a shower and bath and is situated next to the master bedroom. The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in total. Splatt Barn is fitted with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, and Rangemaster oven with hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television with Free-view, and DVD player is provided and wireless broadband is available in the property. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The central heating can be adjusted to suit your preferences and the seasons. Splatt Barn has a wood-burner in the sitting room; a basket of logs and kindling will be provided. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive.
