It can accommodate up to 24 guests in its 10 bedrooms, with 5 en-suite bathrooms and 3 additional bathrooms. The house features a mix of Victorian and 17th-century architecture, with original fireplaces, stained glass windows, and high ceilings. Guests can enjoy a large kitchen/diner, a spacious lounge with leather Chesterfields, and a separate kitchen/diner in the Cider Barn. The property also boasts 4 acres of beautiful gardens with a variety of wildlife-friendly plants, a log fired Scandinavian style hot tub, outdoor games, and ample off-road parking.
The property is ideal for large groups looking for a weekend getaway, with a minimum stay of 2 nights from Friday to Sunday afternoon. Model Farm does not allow very young adults or stag parties, but welcomes other types of groups and up to 2 dogs per stay. For larger functions or corporate events, guests can use the new 55 sq. m Orangery at an additional cost. The location is peaceful and rural, yet only 8 minutes by car from Bridgwater and close to Junctions 23 and 24 of the M5. The Quantock Hills are a short drive away, offering excellent walking opportunities, and the nearby village of Cannington has pubs, gardens, a golf course, and various outdoor activities like horse riding and paintball/laser shooting.
In addition to its comfortable accommodations, Model Farm offers a range of amenities such as a croquet lawn, football area, covered loggia with BBQ, and plenty of seating areas throughout the grounds.
