The property also includes a fitted kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room with a woodburner, and a second floor sitting room. Outside, there is off-road parking for four cars and a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, making it perfect for a large family holiday in the peaceful countryside.
Please note that the second-floor suite containing the super king-size bedroom with ensuite and the open plan living area will be unavailable until January 1st, 2012, limiting the maximum occupancy to six people until then. Amenities at Rowton Manor Cottage include oil central heating with a woodburner, an AGA with oven and hob, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. The property also offers two TVs with Freeview, two DVDs, and WiFi, with fuel, power, and a starter pack for the woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are also provided, along with a travel cot, highchair, and stairgate for families.
In the surrounding area, guests can enjoy river fishing for an additional fee, with a full license required. Shropshire is known for its peaceful and rural landscapes, with A E Houseman describing it as "the quietest place under the sun." Craven Arms is conveniently located between the historic towns of Ludlow and Church Stretton, with Bishops Castle, Ludlow, and Shrewsbury a short drive away.
