Recently refurbished, the cottage is situated on the banks of the Llangollen Canal, making it an ideal base for sightseeing, canoeing, cycling, and walking. Just six miles from the renowned Llangollen International Eisteddfod, the cottage is conveniently located near local train stations and major roadways, allowing for easy access to nearby attractions such as Chester, North Wales, local castles, and more.

Formerly housing mine and canal workers, the cottage has been renovated to a high standard, offering modern amenities while retaining its historic charm. The spacious living room features original beams, wooden flooring, a TV, DVD player, and Wi-Fi, with central heating throughout. The fully furnished kitchen includes modern appliances and all necessary utensils, while the three double bedrooms are light and airy, with two offering Juliet balconies overlooking the canal. Two washing areas, both with showers and one bath, ensure convenience for guests.

Guests can enjoy a furnished patio overlooking the canal, where ducks, geese, and canal boats can be seen passing by. The cottage also provides infant items upon request, such as a travel cot, high chair, and plastic cutlery. Please note that the house is not connected to the main sewage system, so guests are advised to be mindful of what is flushed away.
