Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio, furniture, and a barbecue, as well as off-road parking for two cars and a lockable bike store.
Amenities at George Cottage include central heating, a woodburner stove, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix, a radio, a payphone, WiFi, and a selection of books and games. The rental price includes fuel, power, a starter pack for the stove, bed linen, and towels. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage, and there is a shop and pub just a 5-minute walk away. Please note that there are steep cottage stairs, limited mobile signal, no wardrobes but chests of drawers and hangers in the bedrooms, and no infants or babes-in-arms allowed.
