Smiddyhill Lodge is a luxury two-bedroom wooden cabin located in Innerleithen, Scottish Borders, partly funded by LEADER, an EU initiative supporting rural economy growth. The lodge offers beautiful views of green fields and the river Tweed, accommodating up to 4 people with disability ramp access and decking. It features a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, gas central heating, and a log burner for cozy evenings. The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both have ensuite shower rooms, with storage facilities for outdoor equipment.

Situated between Innerleithen and Peebles, the lodge is near mountain bike trails at Innerleithen and Glentress, as well as golf courses, fishing spots on the river Tweed, and outdoor activities like kayaking and horse riding. The property has security surveillance, lighting, and a private water supply with a UV system for safe drinking water. Following ASSC protocol, the lodge is "Ready To Go" with a thorough cleaning regime to minimize COVID-19 risks. Guests are advised to follow current government guidelines, including self-isolating if symptomatic or contacting medical help if necessary.

In case a guest develops COVID-19 symptoms during their stay, they should return home to self-isolate according to NHS guidelines. If urgent medical assistance is needed, they should seek help immediately. The host/manager should be informed if a guest contracts the virus while staying at the property.
