Located in Hawick, Scottish Borders, Westcote Glamping's Beehive Pod is a unique accommodation option on a working sheep farm in Scotland. This one-of-a-kind unit, built in Cumbria, sleeps four adults comfortably with a bunk bed and double sofa bed. The pod is compact, quirky, and off-grid, meeting basic needs with a fridge, small hob, and eco-toilet and shower powered sustainably by solar panel electricity and locally sourced gas.

Guests staying at the Beehive Pod have access to their own BBQ and fire pit, as well as the option to use shared outdoor kitchen facilities with an oven. For an additional cost, guests can book one of the four wood-burning hot tubs on the property, available for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight. Dogs are welcome for a small fee, and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more.

It is important to note that noise should be kept to a minimum after 11 pm, and guests should be mindful of the limited solar power available for charging devices. In case the pod's solar battery is low, guests can use the plug point in the outdoor kitchen for charging phones or other devices. The location of the cabin in Hawick provides easy access to local landmarks such as the Heart of Hawick and Drumlanrigs Tower, as well as natural beauty spots like Northumberland National Park and St Abbs & Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve. Additionally, attractions like Woodside Garden Centre and Jedforest Deer & Farm Park are worth visiting in the area.
