The Beach Hut is built from larch wood to resemble three adjoining beach huts, with a private timber deck for outdoor relaxation. The property is set in a tranquil, rural location on a 1,000-acre working farm, providing a peaceful retreat for guests. Inside, the living area exudes beach charm with blue-washed timber panels, a compact kitchen, and a dining table. The master bedroom boasts a fun and light-filled ambiance, while a mezzanine floor with twin beds offers additional sleeping space.
Guests can enjoy amenities such as a hammock in the front garden, a fire pit, and extended meals on the sun-drenched deck. The property also offers the option to hire a retro caravan named Colin for additional accommodation. Two dogs are welcome, and there are kennels on site if needed. The Beach Hut is part of a group of shepherd's huts, making it ideal for larger groups or families traveling together.
The accommodation includes an open plan living area, a bedroom with a double bed, and a shower room on the ground floor. A companionway ladder leads to a mezzanine sleeping area for children on the first floor. Outside, there is a large decked area with dining furniture, and a fire pit can be provided upon request. Guests with babies or children can request a travel cot or camp bed, and should supervise children using the ladder to the mezzanine level.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, guest toiletries, and a hair dryer. The hut is heated with electric tubular heating, and water is sourced from a private supply borehole. Parking is located near the farm entrance, as vehicles are not permitted in the paddock where the huts are situated.
