The cottage is conveniently located just minutes from junction seven or eight on the M40, making it easily accessible. The hamlet of North Weston, where the cottage is located, is only a mile away from the market town of Thame, offering a variety of pubs and restaurants, as well as a leisure center.
The cottage boasts a rural setting with a bus stop at the end of the drive providing easy access to Oxford, Thame, or Aylesbury. Additionally, Haddenham train station is about five miles away, offering links to London/Marylebone, Bicester, Banbury, or Warwick. While a car is useful for visiting nearby attractions such as Waddesdon Manor or Chiltern Open Air Museum, there is ample public transport available.
Upon entering the cottage, guests are greeted by a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner featuring beautiful beams and a limestone floor with underfloor heating. The lounge area includes comfortable furnishings, a sofa bed, and a TV/DVD, making it an ideal space for relaxation. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine, making cooking a pleasure. The dining table can seat up to six people, providing ample space for enjoying meals together.
Upstairs, there are two characterful bedrooms with beamed ceilings. The master bedroom features a double bed, TV, and French doors opening to a Juliet balcony, while the second bedroom has twin single beds. Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining in the summer.
