Originally built around 1700 as the East Mill, The Windmill lost its sails in the 1900s and its copper cap was repurposed for the war effort in 1942. In 1998, it was converted into habitable accommodation and has recently undergone a 3-year renovation project by the current owners. The Windmill now features a subbasement extension and remodeled top three floors, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests to enjoy after a day of shopping or exploring the nearby attractions.
