Located in Banbury, Oxfordshire, in the heart of England, this property sleeps up to 10 guests and is situated on a farm within the grounds of the 12th century Clattercote Priory. Surrounded by horse paddocks, the setting is a rural idyll. The nearby village of Clattercote is centrally located within the historic cultural triangle of Oxford, Warwick, and Stratford upon Avon, all reachable within a 30-minute drive. Banbury, about six miles away, offers local shops, pubs, restaurants, Spiceball Country Park, and a leisure center with an indoor swimming pool. Additionally, top visitor attractions in the area include Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Sulgrave Manor, and the Heritage Motor Museum.

Upon arrival, guests will find two accommodations with similar open-plan layouts. Both properties feature lounge areas with ample seating and TVs. The first cottage retains its original fireplace, huge chimney breast, and old bread oven. The well-equipped kitchen areas include an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and microwave. The first cottage has two double bedrooms on the ground floor, while the second has one double bedroom. Each cottage has a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, a mezzanine level overlooks the living area below with a double bed, but note that the stairs are steep. An additional fold-up bed is available for an eleventh guest with advance booking. There is no internal connection between the cottages.

Outside, guests can enjoy a terrace and a large garden accessed through French doors, ideal for children and dogs (friendly resident dogs are present). The garden is enclosed from the farm but not from each cottage, making it suitable for family gatherings when booking both cottages. Garden furniture and BBQs are provided for evening cookouts, and guests are welcome to explore the grounds, being mindful of a nearby pond. Off-road parking is available for convenience.
