Perlethorpe, located in the heart of England, is home to The Sherwood Hideaway Lodges, a stylish retreat popular with couples and small families. The lodge features one double bedroom with an ensuite shower and one twin bedroom, with the option to convert the twin into a double. The open plan kitchen/dining area and lounge lead to a decking area with an outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing in the serene surroundings of Sherwood Forest. Pets are welcome at the lodge, with a maximum of two allowed.
Surrounded by majestic woodland and scenic country lanes, The Sherwood Hideaway Lodges offer a luxurious escape for visitors of all ages. Guests can enjoy walking and cycling in the area, as well as access to the facilities at Thoresby Hall for visitors 21 years and older. These facilities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, gym, beauty salon, and more, with additional charges applicable. The lodges are equipped with Duck Feather and Down pillows/duvets, but guests can request polyester bedding in advance. Bathrooms in all lodges feature a bath with a shower attachment.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates, with the option to request alternatives directly from the park. Brick BBQs are available for use, but guests must provide their own briquettes/logs/firelighters. It is important to note that pets must be booked in advance to avoid additional charges for deep cleaning. The check-in time at Sherwood Hideaway is strictly at 4:00 pm, and log burners in the lounge are electric. The park team is available to assist with additional requests, but these must be discussed in advance and are not guaranteed. As of July 10, 2020, private hot tubs on the park are closed until further notice in accordance with government guidelines. Group bookings are not accepted at the park, and large group bookings require pre-authorization from the park. Nearby attractions include Mr Straw's House, Hodsock Priory, Walesby Forest, and Wheelgate Park, offering a variety of activities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
