The lodge features an open plan kitchen/dining area and lounge with French doors leading to decking with an outdoor hot tub. The lodges are nestled in Sherwood Forest, surrounded by majestic woodland and country lanes perfect for walking and cycling.

Guests at The Sherwood Hideaway can access facilities at Thoresby Hall, available to visitors 21 years and over, including an indoor heated pool, sauna, gym, beauty salon, and more. The lodges come equipped with Duck Feather and Down pillows/duvets, but guests can request polyester bedding in advance. Bathrooms in all lodges have a bath with a shower attachment, and Wi-Fi may be intermittent due to signal strength.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a bottle of wine and chocolates, with the option to request alternatives. Brick BBQs are available for use, but guests must provide their own briquettes/logs/firelighters. The lodge's take-over time is strictly 4:00 pm, and no pets are allowed unless booked into a pet-friendly lodge.
