Located in the Northumberland National Park in the North of England, this charming former farmhouse sleeps up to 6 guests and offers quality accommodation in a stunning and tranquil area. Situated in the Tarset Valley on a sixty acre country estate, the cottage provides access to beautiful countryside and woodland right from the doorstep. Nearby attractions include the Black Middens Bastle House, the Sidwood Trail, and Kielder Water, where guests can enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, mountain biking, sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking.

The cottage has been lovingly refurbished and tastefully furnished with wood flooring throughout and quality finishing touches. The three attractive bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including two king size rooms with feature fireplaces and a twin bedroom with open hanging space. The family shower room features a large, wet room style shower and WC, with an additional WC also available. Upstairs, the impressive open plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts vaulted ceilings, original exposed beams, and a light and airy feel. The lounge area offers comfortable leather sofas for relaxation, while the well-equipped kitchen includes an electric range style hob and double oven, a built-in microwave, a fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher.

Outside, guests can enjoy a large, south facing garden area with a wooden table and bench seating for alfresco dining and drinks while admiring the fabulous views and starry night skies. Parking for 3 cars is available off road at the rear of the cottage. Nearby amenities include the village of Bellingham, located 7 miles away, which offers shops, pubs, restaurants, and the Hareshaw Linn Waterfall. Greenhaugh village is also nearby for a drink and dinner. Guests can explore Kielder Forest's many trails and the Dark Sky Park, known for its breathtaking nightscape with millions of stars overhead.
