The spacious open plan kitchen/dining room with underfloor heating provides a social hub for guests, while the panoramic rural and sea views offer a peaceful escape from everyday life. The property includes parking for 3 cars with an electric charging point, as well as modern comforts like fiber WiFi, Egyptian cotton towels, a washer/dryer, smart TV, and SONOS sound system. The cottage's location on the edge of Ellingham Estate allows guests to observe wildlife such as deer and pheasants, with sliding doors in the dining room opening onto a south-facing elevated patio overlooking a stream and tiered garden reminiscent of 'The Secret Garden'.
Guests can enjoy outdoor activities like BBQs and children can have fun exploring the garden, designed as a dream hide-and-seek location. In terms of COVID-19 policies, guests are eligible for a refund only if travel restrictions prevent them from reaching the property during their booked dates. Refunds are based on the number of nights affected by the lockdown, with a maximum refund of 50% for multiple households. Outside of COVID-19 terms, guests who cancel at least 60 days before check-in receive a full refund, while cancellations within 60 days do not qualify for a refund. In case the owner cancels the booking, guests will be offered an alternative week or a full refund.
