Farne Retreat is a charming coastal cottage located in Seahouses, Northumberland, in the north of England. The cottage sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms and features an open fire. The sitting room has a wood-burning stove and comfortable cream leather sofas, while the kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering.
Seahouses is a great base for exploring the surrounding area, with shops, cafes, and the beach all within easy reach. The town offers plenty of amenities and is close to many attractions, including the impressive Bamburgh Castle just 3 miles away. Beadnell Bay, with its unique west-facing harbour, is a great spot for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, and scuba diving. Other nearby activities include golf, fishing, and horse riding, with Holy Island and Lindisfarne just 5 miles away.
The cottage sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms, with 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 single bed. The ground floor features a well-equipped kitchen and an open-plan living/dining room with a wood-burning stove. The first floor includes the master bedroom, a twin bedroom with a small TV and DVD player, and a single bedroom. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. Entertainment amenities include a large flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD player, iPod docking station, and a selection of books and DVDs.
Outside, there is an outdoor seating area, and a dedicated parking space is provided. Amenities such as WiFi, bed linen, towels, and central heating are included. The cottage does not allow pets, and guests may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver. Full travel and key collection instructions will be emailed directly to guests upon receipt of full payment.
