Hayloft Cottage

This old stone farm building has been converted into three beautiful cottages. They are situated on a working mixed livestock farm (sheep, goats and pigs) in the rural village of Staintondale set back from the road leading to Ravenscar and the coast. The cottages have been completely rebuilt inside and have every modern comfort, leaving old features like oak beams and rough stone walls. It has fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. From the property there is a path leading through the fields towards the old railway line and the Cleveland Way.

Accommodation:
This end part of the larger converted farm building has a spacious lounge with large picture windows and French doors letting in a lot of light. Entrance. Tiled hallway with bookcase and Welsh dresser. Modern, fully equipped kitchen. From the lounge stairs lead up to a galleried bedroom with a double bed. At the back of the cottage is a small hallway with a back door leading to the communal grassy sitting out area. There is a bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and washbasin. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a double bed and a single bed with pull-out bed. Wardrobe space on the landing.

Fridge/freezer, electric cooker with oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher. Wide-screen colour TV with freeview and DVD, radio/CD player. Heating by way of night storage heaters - no extra charges for electricity. Bed linen is provided. A travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request. A welcome pack is set for your arrival. Gravelled patio area in front of picture windows. Communal grassy sitting out area with garden furniture and children's swing. Ample car parking space in the grounds. Non-smokers preferred. Sorry, no pets. Hire of pedal go karts for use along the old railway line from April till end of September. The farm also operates the 'Pesky Husky' hiking centre during the summer months.
