The accommodation at Poverty Hill Barn is designed to comfortably sleep seven guests, with three of the four bedrooms situated on the ground floor, each equipped with en suite facilities. The master bedroom and bedroom three offer super-king size beds, while bedroom two includes a single bed. The fourth bedroom, located upstairs, also features a super-king bed and boasts stunning views. The first floor hosts a light, open-plan living area, complete with a well-equipped kitchen, dining space, and a sitting room beneath a canopy of exposed beams, ensuring a cozy and contemporary atmosphere for guests.

The estate is owned by Roger Tempest, the 32nd generation of his family, with his sister, cartoonist Annie Tempest, drawing inspiration from their childhood home for her work in Country Life. The Sanctuary offers a variety of activities, including walking and cycling trails, wild swimming, and access to the Avalon Wellbeing Centre, which features an indoor pool, steam rooms, and a sauna, all available upon request.
