Cloughton Station, a Victorian country station, was built in 1885 and was one of the busiest on the line, having a cattle dock, goods shed, passing line, coal weighhbridge and level crossing. The Goods Shed was originally used to store pit props, grain sacks, newspapers etc. awaiting transportation to Scarborough, Whitby and the surrounding villages. It has been fully renovated and provides superb self-catering accommodation.

On the ground floor is an open plan lounge with free standing French gas stove and full-fitted, modern, well-equipped kitchen, separate dining room, cloakroom with toilet. The whole of the downstairs has tiled floors with under-floor heating. On the first floor are three bedrooms, one with twin beds and an en-suite shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin. one bedroom with a double bed and one with full-size bunk beds. Also a separate family bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.

Fridge/freezer, electric hob with fan oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. All appliances are built-in. Colour TV with DVD/radio. Central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets, but local kenneling can be arranged. Double doors lead from the back of the lounge to a private patio and small garden area with garden furniture and BBQ. Ample car parking space in the grounds. WiFi available.
