This charming 200 year old Grade II listed Georgian cottage, just below West Cliff, is furnished and decorated to a high standard and retains features such as original fireplaces. From here it is only a short walk to the harbour. The cottage has splendid views of  the sea, Whitby Abbey and St Mary's Church from all windows to the rear of the property and the garden. The gallery on the top floor has extensive views which you you can sit and admire.

Accommodation:  entrance. Hallway. Cosy lounge with feature fireplace and wall-mounted plasma TV. Modern, well equipped kitchen with dining table and Abbey views. On the first floor is a large luxurious  double bedroom/drawing room with a four-poster bed, feature fireplace, built-in wardrobes and comfortable seating area. This room has an en-suite shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin. Also on this floor is a snug to sit and have a read, watch TV/DVD, listen to music or just enjoy the views. On the second floor is a large landing or gallery with seating and great views of the harbour and sea. Also two more bedrooms, one with a double bed, colour TV and built-in wardrobe and one with two single beds, colour TV with DVD. Also on this floor is a shower room with electric shower, toilet and washbasin.

Services:  refrigerator, separate small freezer, gas hob with electric oven, microwave, washing machine. Five TV's to include a wall-mounted flat screen TV with free sat and  DVD, radio/CD player, MP3/Ipod speakers. Gas central heating . Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. A travel cot, high chair and stairgate are provided. Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets.  A backdoor leads to a spacious patio plus an enclosed garden with garden furniture. Excellent views of the harbour.the Abbey and sea.
