Private parking is provided for up to 2 vehicles, with additional parking available in the site car park. Hen and stag parties are strictly prohibited at The Cabin In The Woods. Egton village offers a relaxing break with opportunities for walks and picnics, while Whitby's Blue Flag West Cliff beach, promenade, and historic sites like Whitby Abbey provide plenty of family-friendly activities.

Egton has good rail and bus links to Whitby, with Northern Rail operating a train service five times per day for a quick 22-minute journey. The Arriva North East bus service also runs three times a day from Egton to Whitby. The journey by car takes approximately 12 minutes along the A171. Please note that work will be carried out at Ladycross Plantation Caravan Park until March 22nd, but the site will remain open during this time.
