A truly charming cottage, with sea views, situated in the heart of old Whitby near the 199 steps leading to the ancient St. Mary's Parish Church and the famous Whitby Abbey. The cottage is close to the beach and the harbour as well as the Old Town's quirky shops, tearooms and restaurants. The property has been completely redecorated and refurbished to a very high standard.
Accommodation: entrance into a cosy lounge/diner with sea view. Next to the lounge there is a modern kitchen with door leading to a private patio with table and chairs. Fairly steep stairs lead to the first floor where there is a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and WC. There is a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and sea view. On the second floor is a bedroom with two single beds and fitted wardrobes and another bedroom with a single bed and fitted wardrobes. As the steps are quite steep the property is not suitable for people with mobility problems and toddlers.
Services: fridge/freezer, gas hob, fan oven and combi-oven with microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine. Flat screen TV with DVD player, radio and CD player. Gas central heating. Bed linen is provided. Non-smokers only! Sorry, no pets. Outside private patio.
