The cottage, built in 1640, features two bedrooms and is pet-friendly, making it the perfect heritage stay by the coast. The ground floor includes a utility room with a freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, while the first floor offers a living area with satellite Freesat TV and a kitchen equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, and fridge. The second floor features a bedroom with a single and double bed, as well as a bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. The third floor includes a double bedroom with an en-suite shower cubicle and toilet.
Originally home to a fisherman named Old Tom in the 1800s, Awd Tut's cottage has been lovingly restored by a modern-day descendant, preserving its old-world charm. The cottage is situated in a prime location, just steps away from the harbour and Tate Hill Sands. Guests can enjoy the cosy open-plan living area on the first floor, complete with comfortable seating, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table beneath a beamed ceiling. The family bedroom and main bathroom are also located on this floor, while the master double bedroom with an en-suite shower is on the top floor, offering views over the rooftops of Whitby.
