The Old Cobbler's Shop, previously known as Brooklands, is a charming one-bedroom cottage located in the picturesque village of Gunnerside in upper Swaledale, Richmond, North Yorkshire. The cottage sleeps four people and features an open fire, making it a cozy retreat for guests. The bedroom upstairs offers stunning views of the surrounding hills through two large windows. Week bookings run from Friday to Friday, providing guests with a convenient schedule for their stay.

The living room downstairs includes a double sofabed in front of a logburner, with an initial supply of logs provided. Additional logs can be purchased from the owners, who reside in the village. Electric heaters are also available for heating. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a freezer, is adjacent to the living room, with a table tucked into the corner. A shower room with a basin and WC is located on the ground floor, along with a convenient boot store. Guests can enjoy a small front garden with garden furniture, offering a peaceful spot to admire the hill views and updale scenery.

Guests are welcome to bring one small, well-behaved dog to the cottage, with no additional charge. However, dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture. Bedlinen, towels, and teatowels are included in the rental. Free wifi is available for guests, and there is parking for one car directly in front of the cottage. Bicycle storage is available at the owners' nearby house, along with an electric car charging point (cost negotiable).
