The cottage is situated adjacent to the River Gardens, which is a unique Victorian pleasure gardens, set in three acres on the banks of the River Esk in the picturesque village of Sleights. The River Gardens is well known for its beautiful gardens. It is a small family spot with a cafe and tea gardens and a plant nursery. Whitby is just three miles away. Buses stop at the gate.
Sleights has several shops, a post office, a fish and chip shop, riding stables and makes an excellent centre for walkers. The train station is 100 yards away.
Accommodation:
The cottage is built in Yorkshire stone with a red tile roof. It is completely double glazed and has its own enclosed garden with summerhouse. All the accommodation is on the ground floor and consists of a lounge with gas fire, a kitchen with dining facilities, a bathroom with bath, shower over bath and shaver point, a separate toilet and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. French doors which lead from the lounge into the garden.

Refrigerator and freezer, cooker, microwave, colour TV with DVD, radio, microwave. A cot and highchair are provided. Bed linen is provided. Heating by gas and electricity. Private parking for two cars. One dog is welcome.
