This old fisherman's cottage is situated in the heart of the old village of Robin Hood's Bay. It is comfortably furnished and has a particularly attractive feature - a small patio with decking overlooking the sea, suitable for sunbathing. This is where the 'Coast' programme was filmed from. It is private and the owner provides deckchairs. It is just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
Accommodation:
On the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed. This room has a wash basin and en-suite toilet. On the first floor is a lounge/dining room and a small kitchen. On the second floor is a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with bath, shower over bath, toilet and washbasin.
Services:
Refrigerator with small freezer compartment, microwave. Wall mounted TV with DVD, radio/CD stereo. Heating by way of nightstore heaters. Bring own sheets and pillowcases. A cot can be provided upon request. For the summer there is a parking permit for Bank Top and Station car park (not required in winter). Sorry, no pets.
Self-catering cottage holidays in the UK and Ireland can still be a green option. You can have the comforts of home and the flexibility to do what you want; when you want - without the hassles of air travel!
