This 18th century former fisherman's cottage is tucked away in a sheltered, quiet yard off Cliff Street. The older part of the building has been refurbished and added to in more recent times. The cottage benefits from a south facing aspect. The property is ideally situated for local shops and attractions.
ACCOMMODATION: The cottage is accessed through an enclosed alleyway and via a flight of fairly steep stone steps. Care should be taken with small children and those with walking difficulties. Entrance leads into a modern, well-equipped kitchen. On split levels are a lounge and a separate dining room. The property is comfortable for 4 people but two more can be accommodated in this room which has a futon that can be turned into a three quarter bed. On the next floor is a bedroom with full-sized bunk beds and fitted wardrobes. Also on this floor is a bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin. On the top floor is a spacious, light and airy bedroom with a double bed and large fitted wardrobes. This room has fantastic views of the harbour and the Abbey over the rooftops.
SERVICES: Fridge/freezer, gas hob with electric oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Flat screen colour TV with DVD player, radio/cassette/CD player. Gas central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. Travel cot is provided but please bring your own linen for the cot. Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets. From the dining room, patio doors give access to a raised patio with summer-house and garden furniture.
