Heating is provided by electric oil-filled radiators, and £10 of electric is included with each booking. Additionally, free logs are provided during the colder seasons, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Steeped in history, this cottage was originally a stables and coach house in the 1700s, with the old coach house being the first outside Scarborough to be granted a hackney horse-drawn carriage license to travel through Forge Valley. In the 1800s, the cottage transformed into a Cloggers workshop, retaining some of its original features and adding a unique charm to the property. The cottage's rich history adds to its character and provides a glimpse into the past for guests to enjoy.
