Adjoining the owners house this former farmhouse has been the subject of modernisation but has retained much of its original charm and character incorporating pine doors, exposed beams and a large stone fireplace in the dining room.

The accommodation is spacious, has been very comfortably furnished and enjoys a lovely outlook over the surrounding open countryside.  In a very quiet and peaceful position Arkle Beck runs to the front of the house as it winds its way down the Dale.

This is a superb location for plant lovers, birdwatcher and fell walker with eacy access to lots of great walks from the house which is set by SSI meadowland. Just 2 miles from Langthwaite village this is a very good base for touring the Dales and Lake District, and Tan Hill, the highest pub in England is close by.

Ground floor – sitting room, dining room, fitted kitchen, store room. First floor – 2 bedrooms – 1 double with en-suite shower room with WC and basin, 1 twin with en-suite shower room with WC and basin, house shower room with WC and basin.

Solid fuel stove in dining room and sitting room – fuel provided. Storage heaters – all electricity is included. Central heating (which would rarely be needed) is available at an extra charge. Colour TV with freesat, DVD player, microwave, shaver points, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi access, payphone. Bed linen and towels are provided. Garden with garden furniture.
