Built in 1850, this cosy stone cottage is situated in historical Snainton village at the foot of the North York Moors. It has been tastefully furnished and decorated. It is in a peaceful location and provides an ideal touring base with beaches at Scarborough, Whitby and Filey as well as several forest parks. There are numerous walks and cycle rides in the immediate vicinity and a lovely drive through the wooded valley of Troutsdale.

Entrance, small hallway. Cosy sitting room with coal stove, beamed ceiling, rough stone wall and dining facilities. Off the sitting room is a compact kitchen. Traditionally steeper cottage stairs lead to the first floor where there is a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, hanging space and original fireplace. Also a shower room with electric shower, toilet and washbasin. The cottage is 3 star Enjoy England rated!

Refrigerator, mini electric cooker with two hob plates, grill and oven, microwave. Digital colour TV with DVD. Heating by way of the coal stove and an electric wall heater in the bedroom - no extra charges for fuel and electricity. Bed linen and towels are provided. A travel cot and high chair are provided upon request. Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets. Parking for one car in front of the cottage.
