This charming rustic studio room is superbly situated within the unspoilt surroundings of the North York Moors, alongside a range of other converted 18th century buildings at Country Cottages in Yorkshire. It's hard to believe this welcoming ground-floor room with all its home comforts was once the farm's pig sty! With a high beamed ceiling and windows on three sides, Walcott possesses a light and airy ambience.

The room sleeps two, with a bed which can be made up as one super-king bed or two twins, based on your preference. Relaxation is guaranteed with a pair of comfortable armchairs and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV.

For preparing meals, there's a hideaway kitchen with amenities like a microwave, a full-sized fridge with a freezer box, a food cupboard, a kettle, and a toaster, as well as all the crockery and cutlery you'll need as well and a sink and draining board. Walcott has a full-size en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. 

Access to this studio room is through the south-facing courtyard, which is also a superb place to sit out, savour the surrounding views and enjoy some stunning sunsets. Outdoor furniture is provided for this purpose.

Walcott is a great place to stay if you're looking for a cosy home base to return to after a day exploring the beautiful landscapes of the North York Moors, or heading further afield to see everything Yorkshire has to offer.
