Located in Settle, North Yorkshire, this luxurious bolt hole offers two apartments, Hayloft 1 and Hayloft 2, dating back to 1780. Hayloft 1 features a separate en suite bedroom, while Hayloft 2 is an open style studio apartment. Both are set on the first floor in a large gravelled courtyard and are inspected and selected by Alistair Sawday's Special Places. The apartments are equipped with modern amenities such as WiFi, streaming TV, a kitchen/dining/sitting area with a wood-burning stove, gas central heating, and more.

Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds outside their door, with restaurants, pubs, shops, and a market nearby. Each apartment is accessed through its own private door and stairs, and parking is available in the main square in the center of Settle or in Ashfield Car Park, both a short walk away. The apartments are set back from the road in a private courtyard close to the market square of Settle, offering easy access to the Three Peaks Walk and the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

Less than a 5-minute walk from Settle Railway Station and the Settle to Carlisle Railway, the apartments are conveniently located for travelers coming from London or Manchester, with direct trains from Leeds. The area offers natural beauty, with attractions such as Yorkshire Dales National Park and Malham Tarn nearby. Cultural highlights in the area include Settle Victoria Hall and The Mart Theatre. Activities such as swimming, cave exploring, hiking, and mountain biking are also popular in the area.

For a romantic break, guests can stay as a couple or utilize both apartments for a getaway with friends.
