Located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, this luxury log cabin sleeps 2 people and is situated in the heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by stunning moorland scenery and lush green meadows, the cabin is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Fountains Abbey World Heritage Site. Perfect for a romantic hideaway or a relaxing break, guests can unwind in the hot tub and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The cabin features a lounge, kitchen, full bathroom, and a cozy bedroom finished to a high standard with underfloor heating and luxury linen.
The project to create the log cabins was part funded by The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development to support the farm's economic development through holiday let diversification. Constructed using massive Scottish Douglas Fir posts and beams, the cabins offer a unique and charming stay with old-style craftsmanship and attention to detail. Set on a working farm with beef cattle and sheep, guests can explore the 250 acres of woodlands and fields while enjoying the peaceful rural setting. The farm, which has been in the family for over a century, has transitioned from dairy to beef cattle and sheep farming.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with fresh eggs from the farm's hens, a bottle of prosecco, and homemade shortbread. The cabins are designed to scale and tastefully decorated, offering a comfortable and memorable stay. The farm also offers recognized walks and hikes in the area, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers. With a strict no pet policy, the cabins provide a tranquil and adult-only environment for guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of the North of England.
