Gowland is a large ground-floor studio room on the grounds of Country Cottages in Yorkshire, sitting alongside other attractive converted 18th century properties. This is an ideal place to soak up the rustic ambience and a great base from which to explore the rugged North York Moors National Park which surrounds you.

With its high beamed ceiling, this studio room feels spacious and welcoming, a large south-facing window granting glorious countryside views of the surrounding fields. The comfortable king-size bed sleeps 2, a flatscreen TV is mounted on the wall, and there's a full-sized en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Despite the compact layout, Gowland is well equipped for a self-catering break, with a hideaway kitchen which includes a microwave, a full-sized fridge with freezer box, a toaster, a kettle, a food cupboard, a sink, and a draining board. Of course, it doesn't lack for the essential cutlery and crockery, either. There's also a seating area with two chairs and a small table.

The entrance to Gowland is through the south-facing courtyard, where you'll also find a set of outdoor furniture for relaxing outside on warm days and appreciating the stunning views. This studio room is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the natural surroundings of the North York Moors, or just experience Yorkshire in general.
