This old stone cottage is part of the owner's house but is completely self-contained with its own entrance and patio. It is situated off The Ropery high up the cliff below the Abbey which gives you great views all the way to the old swing bridge and up the river Esk. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard.

Private patio area. Entrance. Hallway. Cosy lounge with open plan kitchen with dining facilities and gas coal fire. Modern shower room with shower, toilet, washbasin and washing machine. Tiled floor. Good sized bedroom with king size bed  or 2 single beds and ample wardrobe and storage space. The cottage has laminate flooring throughout. The lounge is mainly carpeted.

Refrigerator, gas cooker with oven and extractor fan, microwave, washing machine. Colour TV with video/DVD, radio/cassette player. Gas central heating - no extra charges for gas or electricity. Bed linen is provided. A hair dryer is provided. Paved patio with garden furniture and potted plants.  Non-smokers preferred. Sorry, no pets.
