The main lounge has a large flatscreen TV with Now TV including Sky Sports/Sky Entertainment, while the snug/playroom and master bedroom have flatscreen TVs with freeview. Outside, there is a secure attractive Mediterranean style patio garden with a raised seating area and a barbecue, overlooking a small green.

The house is located close to several pubs, shops, and restaurants, and is within walking distance to the town center, foreshore, Rotunda Museum, and Stephen Joseph Theatre. The popular fishing village of Whitby is a 30-minute drive away, while the historic town of York is an hour away. The North Yorks Moors National Park, with great walks and scenery, is on the edge of Scarborough itself. The Crown Spa Hotel, offering full spa facilities, is only 3 minutes away, perfect for a ladies' pampering session.

The property is not suitable for hen or stag groups or parties of exclusively young people under 25. The changeover day is generally Friday, and short break bookings of 3 or 4 nights are welcome outside of school holiday periods. The house includes amenities such as all power and fuel, bedlinen and towels, wireless broadband, and up to 2 dogs are welcome by prior arrangement for a small additional charge.
