Originally designed as an annexe to Colonel Jack Lesley's holiday home, Appletree Barn became a party venue after the Second World War. The property boasts an upside-down layout, with four bedrooms on the ground floor and a spacious living area on the first floor. The bedrooms offer stunning views of the saltmarsh, with high-quality linens and en-suite bathrooms adding a touch of luxury.

The first-floor living space includes a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area for eight, and a comfortable sitting area with a wood-burning stove. Panoramic windows provide breathtaking views of the saltmarsh, while a lookout tower offers a unique vantage point for observing wildlife. Outside, guests can enjoy a swimming pool and tennis court (available from May to July and in September) in the extensive grounds shared with the owner.

Appletree Barn is also available as a sleeps four option, with two bedrooms closed off. Additional amenities include space for three cars in the parking area, the option to bring two well-behaved dogs for a small fee, and a feather-free bedding policy. A refundable security deposit is required, and a travel cot is available for use (bedding not provided).
